If you’re into obscure cars made with material other than metal, you’re going to love this collection of fiberglass kit cars nestled in the wooded outskirts of Tampa, Florida.
It’s called Fiberglass Farms, and it’s run by Jeff Hacker, an old friend of Tom Cotter, the host of Hagerty’s Barn Find Hunter series. Hacker gives Cotter a tour of his facility, showing off ultra-rare kit cars and half-finished projects that have long since been abandoned by their original owners. Some are cool, nicely styled cars that draw from other designs from their eras, while others wear strangely penned looks we’ve never seen anything like before.
It’s an interesting look into the deeply niche world of fiberglass kit cars, one that we rarely get to see on video. Many of these cars are one of just a handful built in period, so to see them in good hands is always a plus.
