Old broken British bike bought in bits was rare Vincent White Shadow worth £300,000

The vendor bought the Vincent bike as a jumble of parts in several boxes with the intention of restoring it. But as he took a closer look at the green bodywork he noticed traces of red paint in the crevices of the front forks. He stripped the paint back to ultimately reveal it to be a unique Vincent White Shadow made in 1951. The bike was initially bought in a jumble of parts. The mechanics of the White Shadow were identical to its stablemate but, despite their name, came with…

A “brand new” 1975 Norton Commando Interstate still in its crate, one of 11 found recently in Belgium Here’s something you don’t come across every day: 11 brand new 1975 electric-start Norton Interstate motorcycles, still in the crate and awaiting final assembly! The horde of Nortons came to light recently following the death of the owner of Motoshop Podevyn in Aalst, Belgium. Incredibly, the bikes are just a small part of an even larger collection. From what we’ve been able to learn, the owner of Motoshop Podevyn had quite a reputation…

Once In a Lifetime Motorcycle Barn Find!

Stumbling upon a rare motorcycle is the dream of any real bike enthusiast and apparently, these guys are living their dreams in this video. Bikes that are 110 years old deserve a better treatment of what Dale Walksler from Wheels Through Time is giving them. These mechanics are spraying starter fluid while smoking, and using monkey wrenches on spark plugs are a big NO in our book but we have to admit one thing, those were some awesome bikes, which deserve some real TLC in order to keep functioning longer….

Basement for 31 Years: 1973 Yamaha RD350

Barn Finds reader Jim S. spotted a long-stored sport bike from the 1970s on eBay in the form of a classic 1973 Yamaha RD350. It’s good timing on his part, since we recently featured another relic of the early sport bike era in the form of a highly original Kawasaki H1 Mach III. While many consider the current landscape to be the golden era of speed, these early two-wheeled rockets set the bar high when introduced. According to the seller, he purchased this RD350 from the original owner, who only drove it a…

TURBOCHARGED CUSTOM HARLEY DAVIDSON!

Here we have some Estonians which unlike in the movies have portrait them as all gangsters fighting alongside the Russians, really know what they are doing and they are doing it good. Apparently this is the first Turbocharged Harley Davidson V-Rodin Estonia and it really looks good. Too bad the video is in Estonian and we cannot understand what he is saying. What we can understand by just watching is the rigorous testing the bike underwent in order to get the most out of that turbine. Until Freddy decides to ad…
